Becoming Her in the Now: How Presence Is Healing Me, Guiding Me, and Preparing Me for My Next Level

by | Nov 23, 2025 | Word of Encouragement

There comes a moment in every woman’s life where she feels a shift happening inside her. She can’t explain it, but she knows something is changing. She knows God is calling her higher, deeper, and forward. But she also knows she’s tired. Pulled. Stretched. Overwhelmed. And sometimes questioning if she even has the capacity to become the woman she keeps envisioning in her prayers.

If that sounds like you, Girlfriend, let me reassure you: you’re not off track, behind, or late. You’re in the exact season God needs you in. You’re not just becoming “Her” someday in the future. You’re becoming Her right now. And the key to meeting this next version of yourself is not speed, perfection, or pressure. It’s presence.

Presence is the doorway to clarity, alignment, peace, obedience, and transformation. Presence is what heals you, guides you, restores you, and grows you. And presence is what carries you into your next level without losing yourself along the way.

Today, I want to walk you through how presence is healing me in real time, how it’s guiding my decisions, how it’s strengthening my spirit, and how it’s preparing me for my next level — and how it can do the same for you, right where you are, with the life you have today.

What “Becoming Her in the Now” Really Means

Most women think becoming “Her” means becoming some future version of themselves, the woman who has it all together, who’s healed, confident, booming, spiritually grounded, physically strong, mentally clear, and living her dream life. But the truth is that you don’t become Her by striving forward. You become Her by showing up to the present version of yourself with honesty, grace, and intention.

Becoming Her in the Now means meeting yourself where you are emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and physically. It means allowing yourself to grow in real time, rather than waiting for a perfect season that never seems to come. It means realizing that God is not waiting on a future version of you,  He is working on the woman you are today.

It means being rooted instead of rushed. Present instead of pressured. Aligned instead of overwhelmed. Open instead of guarded. Intentional instead of scattered.

And here’s the beautiful part: being Her is not about perfection or performance. It’s about presence. When you intentionally slow down enough to hear yourself, hear God, and honor your season, becoming Her happens naturally, not forcefully.

For the overwhelmed military mom, presence becomes a form of emotional stability.

For the pregnant working mom, presence becomes grounding and a source of reassurance.

For the spiritually seeking new mom, presence becomes identity and rediscovery.

For the aspiring entrepreneur, presence becomes clarity and divine strategy.

Presence is the place where transformation actually begins.

Presence Is Healing Me — Mind, Heart, and Habits

Presence has been healing me in ways I didn’t know I needed. And I know it can heal you, too. When we talk about presence, we’re talking about more than sitting still. Presence is tuning into your life and becoming aware of what’s truly happening inside you. It heals you in three layers: your mind, your heart, and your habits.

Presence Is Healing My Mind

Many women live with a mind louder than their life. Thoughts racing. Worries about cycling. To-do lists are multiplying. Guilt whispering. Pressure pressing on their chest. Presence quiets all of the noise long enough for you to hear the truth again.

Presence has made me more aware of:

What stories I’ve been telling myself

What lies have I agreed with

What fears I’ve been feeding

What expectations I’ve placed on myself

What assumptions I’ve been carrying

What worries I’ve been absorbing

When you are present, you realize that your thoughts are not always facts. Your fears are not always real. Your assumptions are not always accurate. And your mind is not always telling the truth.

For the military mom handling constant change, presence becomes a form of mental stability.

For the pregnant working mom managing emotional and hormonal shifts, presence becomes mental gentleness.

For the entrepreneur trying to build something meaningful, presence becomes mental clarity.

Presence helps you stop spiraling and start seeing. Stop panicking and start pausing. Stop overthinking and start listening.

Presence Is Healing My Heart

Presence has also been healing my heart in places I didn’t know were hurting. Sometimes the very thing God wants to heal is the same thing we keep avoiding. Presence brings those things to the surface so you can finally release them.

Presence helps you face:

The pain you buried

The disappointments you minimized

The betrayal you never addressed

The losses you never grieved

The burnout you normalized

The anger you silenced

The identity you lost while carrying others

God cannot heal what we pretend doesn’t hurt.

Presence permits Him to touch the places we’ve been protecting.

When I slowed down long enough to feel instead of function, God started revealing what needed to be addressed. I realized I wasn’t broken,  I was exhausted. I wasn’t weak, I was worn. I wasn’t lost,  I was transitioning. And I wasn’t stuck, I was being reshaped.

Presence Is Healing My Habits

Presence also makes you more aware of your patterns. It shines light on habits you didn’t even notice.

Overspending to soothe stress

Overgiving to feel worthy

Overcommitting to avoid guilt

Overworking to feel in control

Overthinking because you don’t feel safe

Overfunctioning because you never learned to rest

Presence confronts the patterns that don’t align with the woman you’re becoming.

It teaches you a new rhythm of life:

Slow down enough to hear God before you move.

Pause long enough to ask yourself what you’re feeling.

Take action from alignment instead of anxiety.

Live intentionally instead of reactively.

Presence interrupts cycles, builds discipline, and teaches you how to choose peace over performance.

How Presence Is Guiding Me Into My Next Level

Presence doesn’t just heal you. It guides you. Once your mind quiets, your heart softens, and your habits shift, you begin to hear God in ways you couldn’t listen to Him before. You start receiving clarity. You start sensing direction. You start understanding what’s next,  and what’s not.

Presence Brings Emotional Guidance

You start responding instead of reacting. You start understanding your own emotions instead of judging them. You start recognizing what is truly triggering you and why. You start separating fear from intuition. You start noticing what drains you and what fills you. You begin to parent, lead, love, and work from a place of emotional wisdom.

Presence helps you say, “This emotion needs attention,” instead of ignoring it.

“This wound still needs healing,” instead of hiding it.

“This frustration isn’t about them,  it’s about something in me,” instead of projecting it.

“This boundary is necessary,” instead of avoiding it.

Emotional guidance is one of the first gifts of presence.

Presence Brings Spiritual Guidance

This one is powerful. When you’re present, the whispers of God become clearer. You start hearing Him not through panic, pressure, or confusion, but through peace. Presence reveals what He’s been trying to show you all along.

He begins revealing:

What to release

What to pursue

What needs pruning

What needs protecting

Who is for you

Who is not

Which doors to walk through

Which doors to let close

What season are you actually in

Presence reminds you that stillness isn’t punishment, it’s positioning. God does His best work when you finally stop rushing and start listening.

Presence Brings Practical Life Guidance

Let’s talk real life. Presence guides you in your daily roles,  as a mom, a wife, a leader, a soldier, a businesswoman, a friend, a believer.

Presence teaches you how to:

Show up calmer for your kids

Respond with wisdom instead of emotion

Make decisions without second-guessing

Set boundaries without guilt

Plan from focus instead of overwhelm

Work with intention instead of burnout

Honor your energy instead of draining yourself

For the Overwhelmed Military Mom

Presence helps you become more intentional with your time, more aligned with your priorities, and more connected to what truly matters.

Becoming Her in the Now: What This Looks Like Every Day

It looks like finding small spiritual rhythms that remind you of who you are.

You don’t need hours of stillness to be present. You need intentional moments.

It looks like trusting that God is nurturing both you and the baby inside of you.

Becoming Her isn’t a dramatic transformation. It’s a series of small, intentional, spiritually aligned moments that shape the woman you’re becoming today.

Presence looks like grounding yourself when the schedule shifts again.

It looks like finding small pockets of peace.

What truth is God reminding me of?

It looks like allowing yourself to rest without guilt.

It looks like giving yourself credit for holding down a home in a lifestyle that never pauses.

It looks like letting God handle the things you cannot control.

For the Pregnant Working Mom

Presence looks like listening to your body, even when your schedule is packed.

It looks like slowing down enough to enjoy the sacredness of this season.

It looks like honoring how you feel instead of pushing yourself past your limits.

For the Spiritually Seeking New Mom

Presence looks like rediscovering who you are beyond motherhood.

It looks like inviting God into your new normal.

It looks like being patient as you adjust to the demands of caring for a newborn.

For the Aspiring Spiritual Entrepreneur

Presence looks like hearing God before you post.

It looks like building your brand on authenticity rather than comparison.

It looks like creating from overflow, not burnout.

It looks like trusting that God is leading the vision, step by step.

Presence is your blueprint.
